The Michelin Power Competition tubular tire was developed with the help of the Cofidis team and used during the 2018/2019 World Tour season.
A cotton and aramid layer in combination with a latex tube form the basis for a very good performance, while the rubber compound from the Power All Season series provides excellent grip on dry and wet surfaces. A crosswise hi-density puncture protection layer under the entire tread successfully reduces the risk of punctures.
Technologies of the Michelin Power Competition Racing Line tubular:
Race Compound - This rubber compound is derived from Moto GP technology. It offers excellent adhesion on dry surfaces and at the same time very low rolling resistance due to its low deformation.
Grip Desing - Rain and wet tread pattern with tread grooves that drain water over the tire sidewalls.
